Denise received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Barry University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Miami. She has practiced as a Certified Public Accountant since 1997 and is licensed to practice in both Florida and Georgia.

 

Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Denise was the controller of a family-owned real estate firm that developed and built homes throughout the United States including Florida, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Texas, and Washington. 

 

Since joining the firm, Denise has gained significant experience working on matters involving public and private companies, including partnerships, limited liability companies, and S-corporations. Denise’s broad-based practice focuses on advising high-net worth individuals and families, multi-state corporations, and clients with international outbound and inbound investments. She is highly experienced representing clients with Internal Revenue Service Audits. She also regularly consults clients on IRS offshore voluntary disclosure programs (OVDP), streamline procedures, and other various voluntary disclosures regarding foreign financial accounts.

 

Denise is involved in the Make-A-Wish Foundation and is a member of the AICPA and FICPA.
